"Kristol, Hayes, Goldberg, French, Frum, Sykes, Sabato, Charen, Ponnuru, Gerson, Noonan, Meachum, Boot, Brooks, Lowry, Scarborough, Stephens, Erickson and Rubin."

Kristol, Hayes, Goldberg, Frum, Stephens and Sykes, now have no influence, have lost most of their former platform and are widely reviled.

David French makes his money by pretending to be a conservative while writing articles that support whatever position the Left wants supported. Typically, these articles are entitled the conservative case for Leftist cause.

Mona Charen never had any influence and continues to have no influence at her job with National Review. I think her life is the same as it has always been and she should be very thankful to Rich Lowry for keeping her around at National Review.

Ramesh Ponnuru writes generally conservative articles for Bloomberg and mean-spirited tweets designed to provoke other conservatives into disliking him. He is now the editor at National Review and will probably continue the path forged by Rich Lowry at NR.

Larry Sabato is a professor at U.Va. and has always leaned Left. He just seems more conservative than he really is because he comes from an academic environment and is forced to ground some of his work in reality or risk being wrong every time. Again, I think his life is the same as it ever was.

Michael Gerson works for the Washington Post and his job is to pretend to be a conservative while telling liberal readers of the Washington Post what they want to hear. Again, I think his life is the same as it ever was because he never had influence with other conservatives.

Peggy Noonan still has her gig with the Wall Street Journal. I think she has a lot less influence among conservatives than she did 5 years ago, but her life is pretty much the same. She is probably too stupid to realize how lucky she is to still be writing for the WSJ.

I don't know who Meachum is.

Max Boot and Jennifer Ruben are yet another two neocons who want the U.S. involved in wars in the Middle East that will be fought by someone else's sons. It turns out that both of them were just big shysters who always were on the Left. They both work for the Washington Post. Boot is yet another protege of Rich Lowry who went bad.

David Brooks wrote an entertaining book 25 years ago called Bourgeois Bohemians in Paradise. He hasn't written anything worth reading since then. Again, he is employed by the New York Times to pretend to be a conservative while telling the liberal readership of the NYT what they want to hear. I think his life is the same as it ever was.

Joe Scarborough is a former Republican congressman who is now a morning show host on MSNBC. I don't think anyone ever took Scarborough seriously. He is a poor man's Matt Lauer only his reporting isn't quite up to Lauer's standards.

Rich Lowry is the person who is really in control of National Review and he is the man responsible for NR losing roughly 60% of its readership. I understand that he is paid roughly $450K per year by NR. He has laughed all the way to the bank as he has presided over the great diminution of NR. He is probably the biggest disappointment of everyone on this list because he is responsible for so many conservative writers going bad.

I watched Bret's panel pretty much all through the Dark Period (Obama years). I quit watching several months into the Renaissance (PDT's term). Like all phony cruise boat conservatives, once they actually had the power to enact change, they balked. I'm looking at you Paul Ryan. They are nothing more than members of the uni-party. Hucksters out for themselves. Snake oil salesman worse than democrats. They have no honor, no integrity, no imagination and no spine. Emerald - you did the world a great boon. Thank you.

THIS! The Lord is with you girl! Conservatives and true Republicans just instinctively “knew” when those dopey pundits were jerking our chain… what they were selling, we didn’t buy! 🎉 🎉🎉 Congrats on a job well done!

Thank you. You mentioned every single one of the ones I detested, especially The Davids, and for reasons even I don't know, I always thought Jonah should have been named David too. I'm glad they are gone. My only regret is that Kevin Williamson continues on. He should have literally been tarred and feathered.

This piece just made my day. I am sharing this with EV-ERRR-REEEE-ONE! (Typed in the spirit of Gary Oldman's character in Leon: The Professional). Well done E.R. ... such a wonderful conglomeration of beauty, brains and bitchiness. I ❤ it .... this .... you. Keep murdering them Lady! There is more work to-do.

Would it be too much to ask you to turn your destructive powers on National Review next?
