I watched Selection Code (https://selectioncode.com). It was outstanding. It is a wonderful way to professionally tell a story about current events that encourages viewers to think critically about their Constitutional rights.

There are those American citizens who watch current events unfold on TV and think, “Gee, it's terrible those bad things are happening to seemingly regular people, I am so glad it will not happen to me.” Most of us probably thought that way once, but by coupling the message of this movie to what one reads or observes daily via news sources, a growing number of people now understand this could happen to anyone under certain circumstances.

This movie is yet another wake-up call to the need for all citizens to arm themselves with the history of our nation. And, the need to know the meaning of our form of government, which is the Constitutional Democratic Republic-the only country on earth with this form of government.

Yesterday I watched a video produced by Derek Muller, Ph.D. entitled “The 4 things it takes to be an expert.” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eW6Eagr9XA) His fourth thing was, “Don't get too comfortable.” He made the point that experts have to be practicing at the edge of their ability to learn.

I know when it comes to knowledge of American history and the history of Western Civilization, I am no expert. But, since I do have knowledge of the edge of my understanding of those two critical citizenship necessities, I need to learn and never stop learning.
